Alpna Jain is the Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Drivn, an asset-led platform building the financial backbone for commercial electric mobility in India. At Drivn, she spearheads partnerships, capital strategy, and long-term positioning to enable large-scale deployment of electric buses and trucks across the country.

With over two decades of experience in infrastructure investment, project finance, and public policy, Alpna has played a formative role in some of India’s most important infrastructure and energy-transition initiatives. Her career spans leading institutions including IFC–World Bank Group, NITI Aayog, EY, and IDFC, where she has worked across the full lifecycle of energy and infrastructure development, from policy design and capital structuring to execution and scale-up.

Before co-founding Drivn, Alpna was with IFC–World Bank Group, where she evaluated early- and growth-stage investments across electric mobility and charging infrastructure finance. It was during this stint that she conceived the idea of Drivn, which plugs an important missing element in large, dormant electric mobility: access to data-driven, long-term, fit-for-purpose financing structures.

Earlier, at NITI Aayog, Alpna was closely involved in shaping the policy framework behind India’s National Monetisation Pipeline. Her role focused on unlocking private capital for public infrastructure and building institutional mechanisms to support long-term investment.
